In fact, there are 10 km of sandy beach that wind along the fishing village while, all inland, 16,000 hectares of lagoon branch out, dotted with over 100 islets, all to be discovered. The writer Claudio Magris spoke of the intimate sensations that this motionless space aroused in him: \u201cQuiet, slowdown, inertia, lazy and relaxed abandonment\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

And Grado is just like that: slow, serene and suggestive<\/strong>. But also regenerating, given its tradition of hospitality as a health and wellness center, declared an imperial beach by the Habsburgs since 1892 and today SPA<\/strong>\u00a0internationally recognized thanks above all to thalassotherapy.<\/p>\n
